The APPI Pilates  (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) technique has been developed specifically for rehabilitation settings.

Developed in Australia, it is now widely used throughout the globe.

​

This version of Pilates has scientifically researched movement patterns and ensures safe practice for all

​

Though it may seem very gentle if you are a sport person, Pilates is a renowned and highly effective method  for working deep muscles! 


 It is praised for it's multiple benefits such as strengthening core muscles and pelvic control, coordination and body awareness, flexibility, balance and range of movement amongst many others. 

​

It is still important to listen to your body and know your limitations.

If in doubt always check with your medical professional.


It is advisable to start with Beginner Matwork based exercise and progress on to more Intermediate based work which may include equipment.
